EuroSort recruits experienced service and system engineers, most of them passive jobseekers. Every campaign round is tested and adjusted on the last.

EuroSort builds sorting machines that run in more than 40 countries, and needs experienced engineers, most of them passive jobseekers who already have a job. By testing and adjusting every round, each campaign reached them more cheaply than the one before.
Production roles were filled without difficulty, but experienced engineers already have a job and don't browse job boards. EuroSort's own careers page didn't reach them.
Campaigns went live 11 days after signing, on a vacancy page under EuroSort's own domain. The internal title "Senior Field Service Engineer" became "Field Service Engineer" in the ads, in Dutch and English, with EuroSort's own short videos. Cold campaigns were followed by retargeting, the coordinator role was repositioned towards working foremen, and a candidate list from 27 search terms fed LinkedIn outreach.
Every round was adjusted on the results of the previous one. The field service engineer role drew the most applicants, and the last campaign reached engineers at a fraction of the cost of the first.
